The View From Here, 2007

"The View From Here" is a widescreen movie installed on an architectural media wall system, an array of eighteen video monitors configured to an overall size of 20 feet wide by 8 feet high, located inside the Oakland Airport.

The work functions as a time-based object, altering the perception of the wall's existing screen grid architecture by employing a long oval shape. It presents an oblique view of the horizon, sky and ocean's falling waves as they gently move across the surface of the wall.
