HERE TO THERE, 2007
Projected animation from photographs, sound, wall flat, mounted wood boxes
25 minute loop
6 x 8 x 7 feet

Here to There is a time-based object that presents simultaneous pictorial views through pattern and fragment.

Pieces of one particular landscape, object or moment push through to exist briefly on the same plane as another, replacing, colliding, coexisting as fragments that pull apart and come together again.

The work includes a 25 minute animation created from photographs projected onto a multi-panel surface. It is accompanied by four soundtracks by
The Museum of Viral Memory that function as another shifting surface, confounding the relationship between recorded audio and live sounds.
